Abseiling is commonly practiced the world over as a method of descending a rope in a safe and controlled manner. Our abseil experience takes place at Makuhlu, a 27m high granite rock face overlooking the Kruger Park. This towering boulder is the ideal abseil venue, with an easy hike up the back of the cliff and a vertical drop at the front. Great rock formations and breathtaking views ads spice to this adrenalin packed experience.

The province's forestry town, Sabie, is regarded as southern Africa's mountain biking nirvana with trials that offer both competitive and casual mountain bikers a wide range of expertly-guided or well marked self-guided mountain bike trails.

You will find that the main quad biking operations in Mpumalanga are in Hazyview and between Graskop and Sabie. The vegetation around Hazyview is definitely more lush with trails winding along through hills and streams along the Sabana River in the Sabie River Valley, The trails in the area offer something for beginners all the way to the expert rider where technical trails riding skills becomes a basic requirement.

Mpumalanga might not have the ocean or beaches, but where else can you game view from a kayak, booze cruise or river tube, go power boating, cave diving, or white water rafting, or simply chill under a secluded forest waterfall? The province is one of South Africa's lushest, boasting its highest waterfalls, deepest canyons and largest rivers. You can even take a dip in snowfed waters on the escarpment in winter, and warm-up at a sub tropical hot spring just one hour away.
